Saying Grace

The word gratitude is derived from the Latin word gratia, which means grace, graciousness, or gratefulness. Gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what’s good in your life.

Like the pumpkin pie and ice cream I had for breakfast.

Like the late, lingering fall ride I recently took with Kate. She snapped a photo of Mystic and me, with Ginger frolicking in the background.

Like having my son Gabe living with me here in North Carolina, celebrating our first Thanksgiving together in six years.

Gratia. Gracias. Grazie.

  1. Hi Mary

You all look wonderfully delicious-the pumpkin pie, you and Mystic, and the meditative Gabe!

Had a photo this AM from Eli, of him and the boys at the Miss Flo Diner-he’s in town there for his 20th High School reunion.

    (Oh those galloping years!)

A lovely Thanksgiving chez my cousin in Weston, CT, where we’ve been going for four decades.

Aaron continues well on his meds, and has been doing substitute teaching regularly-Jackson St School in Nhton.

Here at home, all well, life and work
